While Kings Global Industries is a new company, the team behind it is not. Our people bring decades of hands-on experience across mining support, processing, equipment supply, and investment — accumulated through careers spent working in Africa's most demanding mining environments.

Marius Sims is a multi-faceted senior management professional whose 24-year career in the mining industry has produced a leadership profile defined by technical depth, operational rigour, and a consistent ability to drive performance in complex, high-stakes environments.
His career spans the full spectrum of electrical maintenance, construction, systems upgrades, and plant commissioning — with a sustained focus on maximising production, optimising efficiencies, reducing risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance across large-scale mining operations.
Throughout his career, Marius has held progressive leadership roles — from site-level technical positions through to senior management and acting superintendent responsibilities — building an exceptionally broad foundation in fixed plant operations, electrical distribution systems, and control infrastructure. His current focus is on plant commissioning, site-specific upgrades, supplier and materials management, and defect resolution across electrical and control systems in active mining environments.
At Kings Global Industries, Marius brings this wealth of experience to bear in leading the company's technical operations and strategic direction — ensuring that every project we support is delivered to the highest standard of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
